I love spring time for so many different reasons but most of all for the trees that are covered with leaves after the winter, the birds and flowers and so much more.
I did some gardening over the past couple weeks. Despite a longer than usual winter, most of my plants and flowers survived.
This evening I am writing on my back porch with a glass of red wine, bits of cheese and plump olives. That will do for now until dinner.

Hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving doing exactly what you wanted to do. My home was filled with company and I relished in joy as we welcomed our third grandchild to our family. She is a doll and I give thanks that she is healthy.

Monday's are always busy right? I found myself distracted today so I took some time to surf the internet. Came across an incredible beautiful line of jewelry...IPPOLITA. Too late for BD gift? I don't think so since this is still my birthday month, soooooo....Yea, distracted and tempted.
Wrote a beautiful love scene inspired from the jewlery. If I don't get the jewelry, by God one of my characters will. Incoroprating jewelry in a love scene is totally sexy!

So much information! A few hundred authors attended the annual GRW conference. Saw old friends and met new ones too. Keynote speakers and New York Times bestsellers, Wendy Wax and Marie Force were dynamic and engaged with the audiance.

Attending Georgia's romance writers of America conference in Atlanta this week. A three day event where romance writers unite and think of unique and creative ways to write great novels.

I love the fall weather almost as much as my love for spring. Despite allergies I am enjoying some of my favorite outdoors activities. Back to playing tennis and golf. What a joy!
I am surrounded by gorgeous mountains and will be hiking in the weeks to come. Can't wait to take a picnic after a few hours of hiking. Soup, sandwich and hot chocolate will be in my picnic basket for sure.

I love the mountains. It clears my mind and cleanse my soul. It is where I find solace and inspiration. Today I kayaked across a lake all the while staring at the mountains in front of me. I could not wait to get back home and write. Just what I needed. And yes, I thought of you today.

Visiting Charleston SC for a couple days. A favorite city of mine due to it's history and romantic charm. I see some scenes coming up in one of my novels for sure.
WIth beauifully restored antibelum homes, horse carriages, southern hospitility and unique one of a kind restaurants serving up great foods, Charleston is one of a kind and a must to visit when passing through the south.

What do you do when life throws you a curve ball.? An unexpected turn of event. I write. Try writing down your thoughts today and leave them on the paper. Clear the road ahead for a better view.
I recently signed a copy of my book 'Forever rain' for someone reminding them that 'Life should always be about love and romance'. What a great credo to live by.
One last but most important for romance book lovers like us...always do 'Cloak your heart in love'.

End of summer and I did not accomplish all my summer goals :/. What about you? Let's set more realestic ones for the fall.
Looking forward to the busy weekend ahead visiting with friends, attending a concert and catch my breath.
